I had plans. Oh, I had plans. Big, impressive plans that glittered in the sun. Plans with the gravity of small planets. Plans that would inspire other plans, and those plans would be for monuments to my original plans, because to look directly at my true plans would be impossible. And then I got a 101-degree fever a few days before my flight to Vegas, and my plans changed into several gallons of OJ and antibiotics.
Still, I made it out to Nevada for The PPAI Expo 2012 last week. While I was no longer sick by showtime, my energy levels drained faster than my phone’s battery and I didn’t see nearly as much of the show as I would have liked. I spent most of the time staging Occupy Media Lounge, writing stories and drinking free coffee. Which is the best thing I saw at the show: free coffee in the press room. I knew that badge would come in handy for something.
There were hundreds of new and cool products out there (like the awesome Silipint) and plenty of after-hours shenanigans to keep you up every night. Unfortunately I missed most of them, and that’s where you come in. I want to hear your perspective about the PPAI Expo.
